My Best Friend Lisa's Paris Birthday

My best friend Lisa is celebrating her birthday this month. She lives in San Diego I live in Seattle. I couldn't buy her anything that would mean enough to her for my value in her friendship so I decided to give her Paris for her birthday.

We aren't really going to Paris who could afford that but I wanted to give her something she could visualize and just for a few moments pretend we are there.My goal is to take her shopping for some bling like fancy shoes.

We'll stop and have cake and icecream at a little Bistro

Or maybe she might like some Bon Bons and little desserts instead

Chocolate oolala

We'll go site seeing all over the city and giggle like young girls at all we see.

then off to a fine dinner where crystal and linens will set the table 

We'll have a nice cup of tea as we reminence about our busy day

Our own tea service will be sitting at our table to use

We'll splurge on fancy cake it is her birthday and we aren't counting calories today

Because this is her day she will be honored with Birthday napkin rings to help her make her feel like Queen for a day.

Ooh what a fine table this restaurant pulled together for her.

We even have crystal sugar and creamer and water glasses.Oh yes we're styling now my Lisa and I.

We have views of the Eifflel Tower while we eat ohh such Loveliness as we dine

Lisa bought these shiny blingy shoes she does love to shop me I wanted the dishes instead.

we are going to have candlelight pretty soon.Oh waiter would you please light our candles. Paris by candlelight every girls dream night.

And please refill our teapot we have run dry

Well our day must come to a close

But we will treasure our time together while in Paris even if was only a day.

A little treasure to take home for our day a cookie cutter would probably be the only thing either of us could ever afford in Paris.

Easter Bunny is Here

Easter is only a week away how did it come so Quickly?

Happy Easter to all of you I hope this day is spent with Loved ones and enjoyed for the renewal of Spring .

As you can probably tell I love animals, all animals  big, small, furry ,hairless,feathered.cute and the not so cute. I love Bunnies and birds and baby chics and all babies in the animal kingdom.

Anyone who knows me will tell you I am pretty fearless with all animals.I am not a threat so pose no fear to animals.

So I chose bunnies for this Easter. They are cute, adorable come in a multiple of sizes and colors and I don't know how we got from Jesus and theCross to cute bunnies and chics and Easter baskets and new dresses

I didn't make this decision but I too am following it.Maybe because bunnies and chics give us hope of newness

So my table is adorned with Bunnies lots of bunnies right down to the tiny little napkin rings with adorable bunnies on them. 

From plates to candles to decorations to bunny ears for napkins yes I am guilty of running with the Bunny theme.

But come on they are so cute and innocent and cuddly looking.

Spring is all colors  more than a rainbow just pure eye candy with all that blooms .Here I chose pastels for my backdrop.I just love pastel dyed eggs.(Eggs and Bunnies how did they ever connect?)

From plaids to dots to stripes and flowers they all go together.

They are all out to enjoy this Easter parade
