Red Christmas after all

Ok I gave in and made not one but two red tables.I made one only on the table I refused to pull out all my hard work on the pink. So only the table got done. Hello my friends in blogland. It's four days before Christmas and I'm going to finish my Christmas tables. I am driving 10 hours Christmas morning to visit my son in Oregon

So I 'm just going to share the Pics and wish everyone a very Merry ,Joyful and Loving Christmas.

It was my cookie baking weekend. The weather fully cooperated by raining, cold and just awful. So at 8:30 am I ran outside in between rain breaks and grabbed as many pinecones and pine boughs I could grab and made this table. The wonderful smell of Holiday cookies, red table, and Hallmark Christmas movies made for a great day. Enjoy

some of the 11 batches of cookies I made Yum
Merry Christmas to all, may your blessings be many and may you remember the reason for the season, Jesus!!!!

Snow table and snow in Seattle

Hello everybody well its only12 days to Christmas. We got our first snowfall in Seattle last week.Temperatures dropped into low 30's and we got hit with an Alaskan blast. We were not prepared and driving was horrible. It was amazing to see two inches blanket the waterfront  that night by the Ferris Wheel. So I decided to do a snow man table. I am sick with a very nasty cold today and horrible cough. So instead of narrating the pics I'll just let you enjoy. Hope everyone is well and ready for the Holiday season.Love Susie

Silver and pink christmas

Can you believe Thanksgiving is over and we are just days away from Dec and then Christmas? I can 't believe how fast this year is just whizzing by.

Hello friends .I hope everyone had a wonderful Thanksgiving and you were all Blessed.

I pulled out my decorations and opted for a new color this year.Pink and silver.I've been working on my Christmas ornaments for three months now. I have done various color schemes for over 40 years mostly in the red and green hues. I've done the blue snowman motif and everything  in between.

But the softness of lite pink kept calling me. I searched ideas on Pinterest for months to get ideas. Then came up with my own.

My entire apt is already shabby chic with pink decor so going with pink was not a stretch
So I set a very pretty soft table with silver and pink accents

every surface got a new facelift

the hutches got makeovers

I love the softness it reflects with just little pops of pink.not overwhelming just feminine enough

Enough to satisfy my pink need but not enough to make you gag over it.

tiny little houses under glass or on a cake plate

This is one of those ceramic trees from the early sixties I spray painted a soft pink then covered in pink glitter

the colors are the same including this centerpiece that I am using for our annual Women's dinner at my church

my mantel is done in pink fur and snow

I love how my tree turned out I made every ornament on the tree. The glitter fairy is smiling down on me.It's amazing how modge podge, spray paint and tons of glitter can transform every thing.I mean everything

These are not wrinkles in my tablecloth but embroidered snowflakes

so shiny and bright

Well that's it for me for now I hope you are all well and getting excited with Christmas to come.Catch some of the blogs out there, these ladies know how to decorate, bake ,create and just make the Holidays wonderful. So stop in at Between Naps on the Porch, Home is where the Boat Is, Kitchen Corner, Painted Apron,Confessions of aSerious Do It Yourselfer and so many more.Enjoy .Love Susie
