Winnies first Halloween

Happy Halloween we are getting closer. It seems every one has a favorite Witch they all pull out this time of the year.I haven't had a witch to pull out so on my day at thrift store I was on the look out for a New witch to find her way home with me. This one flew in to my basket so fast I didn't know what whizzed by me.

The black cats came out to haunt the table with her

there were witches on brooms and startled cats,

skulls galore and spiders too, webbing and witchcraft  were a brew.

haunted houses and bat warnings  out

So I had to come up with a name for this ole girl, all the Matildas and Beulah's and Brenda's and Broom Hildas were all taken  so I pondered and pondered this being her first Halloween with me  I wanted something along the lines of Halloween but who would name someone Halloween so I got Winnie instead. Isn't she a hoot ?right down  to the hairy wart on her chin the toad on a pole stick and the bag of of goodies. The real great thing is she came home for only $4.00 Boy did she sell her self short or what?

I guess she used to hold something in her hand or maybe she is giving us a message of some kind.

Maybe this was her boyfriend and he shouldn't have messed with her

Oops it looks like her sister went bottoms up in the pot

She sits proudly in the center of the table what does she think she is queen or something?

Well I hope she didn't scare you off too much. have a Winnieful week and see you all next week. I will be joining Susan at Between Naps on the Porch, Funky Junk Interiors  and Let's Join the scoop. why don't you hang out with us its a bagful of fun .God bless you all this week and remember Lots of Hugs.Susie
