I created this intimate little table for two that my husband and I can sit at when watching tv I just wanted to use these plates I have gotten and loved |
I so love the red and green colors |
maybe just some icecream for dessert |
A present to open later
Well Santa is coming in just four days so I made a table to welcome him with |
I got these plates last year at local GW it was included in my big stash that was 75% off everything so all four plates were 1.29 |
and these lil santa's came from Michael's on clearance each one is different |
Santa brings lots of presents let me think here have I been naughty or nice? |
I made these napkin rings that I just found on Pinterest LOVE them |
my inspiration came from this glass Santa he was the first thing I saw on my splurge at GW last year I put a colored lite inside him to make him lite up |
plate number two each one has a different pattern on the rim and a different Santa on each.Don't you just love a Dancing Santa? |
He sits upon a raised red cake plate with snow all around him holding a bell to announce his arrival.
plate number three and Santa number three |
here are numbers four of both Santa's |
this is not pink
I left a Santa cookie cutter for each quest or to hold a nametag at
here are some shots of the whole table |

This Santa was a gift to me many years ago from a very dear friend that has passed on from Pancreatic cancer. I get to think of her every year when I put this guy out |
I made my own little tree I wasn't going to get one what is the sense to that when I am alone and while at Lowe's one night they were cutting trees and throwing scraps into a bin and a customer said"hey they are Free why don't you take some home throw some lites on them and decorate your hutch with some" so I gathered alot of branches and stuck them in a pot with some lites and decorated with napkin rings I had sitting in a jar. I don't think it looks to bad of a Charlie brown tree does it? then they were giving these log slices away (come on guys Michael's sells them for $2.00 a piece) great for coasters in a rustic theme. just be sure to dry them out in the oven for a couple of hours to dry off the sap. Pretty good job if I do say so myself. wishing everyone a very MERRY CHRISTMAS!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! Susie I'll be linking up I'm participating in Tablescape Thursday at Between Naps On The Porch. confessions of a plate addict,Jointhe scoop.and Funky Junk Interiors so stop on by with me |

DeleteSusie, I visited here several days ago and left a comment for you but I am not seeing it now. I feel terrible that it did not post for you. This seems to happen every once and a while. The gist of it was I love the red and green candlelit table that you created for you and your husband (sounds romantic) and that I really like the dancing Santa plates, they are so cute. The welcoming Santa table is so festive I love the little Santa's from Michael's and the cake stand with the Santa on top. Everything looks wonderful for a festive Christmas Dinner..... Hugs, Candy
