Here is a little cake plate and candle holder and a bow
Here are two candy dishes(or)
the plates came from Marshall's these are items I have made with candle stick holders, this one was made from a plate from dollar store and an ice cream dish cost just $2.00
HI Susie, those glass candle holders can be used in making so many things, can't they? I love your hearts inside the pillar candle holder, by the way! Thanks for participating in the dollar store challenge and I hope to see you next month!
ReplyDeletethanks for the challenge can't wait to see what next month will be. I love shopping at the dollar stores.Susie
DeleteSo cute! Those pillar candle holders are so fun- great way to easily change filler for the different holidays.
ReplyDeleteThese candle holders give the potential of being able to use them in so many ways.I think I have used them in at least 50 different ways in the past couple of years. thanks for stopping by.Susie
DeleteI LOVE,LOVE, LOVE your uses of the little candle holders. I had bought some recently to make something out of and already forgotten what. This should inspire me more. Hope you will visit my blog today at the Grow Your Blog Party.
ReplyDeleteHi Beth thanks for stopping by. I am a Pastry chef and for many catering events I needed little cupcake plates so I made them using assorted little plates and cheap candle holders. Always use E 6000 glue because it is water and food safe and holds the best. I am going to be stopping by your blog as soon as I am done typing this.Susie

DeleteSo many great creative designs. I especially like the one with the ice cream dish as the base. Thanks for inviting us for a peek. Cherry Kay
ReplyDeleteI was in the Dollar store trying to come with new ideas for mini cake plates I was making for a catering event and I didn't want to keep using candle holders for all the bases and went to the glass ware isle and came across them. I fell in love with the vision of the ice cream dish and made several and I think they came out real cute. Again I highly recommend using E6000 glue. It is water soluble and food safe this mini cake plate looks real sweet next to my icecream cone cake plate I have i will have to create a post showing that one. thanks for stopping on over. susie
