I'm so glad the 4th of July is coming |
I love Red white and blue together not azure blue, not sky blue not pastel blue but BOLD dark blue. |
They are striking colors but together they just fit so right. Sometimes we need to thank our founding Fathers for coming up with these |
bold bright colors.no other blue would do |
Deep reds deep blues and the crispness of the white to offset the others |
can you imagine what it would be like if they had come up with colors like orange and gray? YUK |
I love the 4th of July not because it's summer, in fact I hate summer but it is a great Holiday to celebrate for anyone who is walking on American soil. We are the mightiest nation in the world. |
The dollar store has great 4th of July decor .They even had little sparkle lights in red, white and blue , I should have grabbed more |
My hutch is all decked out too. |
I love the little star accessories that I found at Pier one on sale |
Everybody gets their own cupcake on their own mini stands how cute is that? |
All lit up like sparklers aglow |
Even the cloche got in on the decorating |
I used extra red and blue lights to adorn with only you can't see them. |
I used three cake plates here one in red one in white and of course blue |
The flag plates I grabbed at GW for only $2.00 for all 4 of them
Add some beads in a glass cloche and call it a day |
Even this cake plate got a new look with some new ribbon |
some mini lites to sparkle all around and blue and white pearl strands |
I love all of your red, white, and blue-ness (yes I know blue-ness is not a real word, but I like it). Where did you get the cute little mini cupcake stands? They are just the sweetest little things for a wonderful patriotic and whimsical table. Have a wonderful day..... Candy
ReplyDeleteHi Candy did you ever get to Anna's to find some of these stands? you could just shop on line for them they have a whole line of these bright colored dishwares. Susie

ReplyDeleteHi Liz thank you for your reply. Do you go all out for the 4th of July or any of the Holidays that we can use red white and blue?Susie
DeleteYour are certainly ready for the 4th of July with both your hutch and table decorated! The best part is the flag plates from GW for $2. The napkins really are the perfect accent for your patriotic theme! Have a great week!

DeleteI agree Susie....red, white, and blue is the best combination!! The colors alone inspire patriotism.
ReplyDeleteI love seeing how you had so much fun dressing your home out for summer and our patriotic holidays.
Thanks for sharing you red, white, and blue with us at Project Inspired{d}!
I could imagine what a house would look like if I lived in one for the 4th of July.thank you for your sweet comment Diane.Susie
DeleteSusie,
ReplyDeleteYou and I are of kindred spirit.........as I celebrate my birthday on June 14, Flag day, my house is already decorated by the first of June and stays till August. I also have the flag plates, I have several sets with four different varieties of flags on the plates. You will see I am sure in the next month or so. My mom always gives me something red white and blue each year. My patriotic decoration probably equal my Christmas decorations. Going back to look to see what I missed. Are you small cupcake stands a recent purchase?
Cathy <;)
Have a great birthday and I pick up cake plates whenever I see them or find them . I figured the little ones could be used with so many things.Susie
DeleteSo much patriotic fun!

ReplyDeleteHappy summer to you also I can't wait to see what our next challenge will be.Susie
DeleteEverything looks so festive. I can't believe you got those flag plates for such a deal. They are perfect on your festive table. laurie
ReplyDeleteI live within three Gw stores only 8 miles apart and am always checking out their bargains a great summer Laurie.Susie
DeleteSusie, I love the patriotic decor, I bought the same flag plates at GW. Here in our area the going price is for cents each for salad plates. You gotta love Goodwill. I shop at three different Goodwill Stores near my home. Once and a while when we are visiting the kids we stop at the Goodwill and the VOA near their house.
